Henry Tapscott was born about 1806 in Culmstock Devon, and died 1868 in High Ham Somerset. He married Mary Ann Gooding in 1855 in Taunton, Somerset. She was born 1825 in Huish Episcopi, Somerset, and died in 1902 in High Ham, Somerset aged 78.

Henry was approaching 50 by the time he married and he and his wife Mary Ann Gooding had two children. He was left one third share of his mother's goods and chattels after other disbursements and managed the 100 acres of Henley Corner Farm after she had died, employing 2 men and 1 boy. Henry himself died intestate and letters of administration were granted to his wife, Mary Ann Tapscott.

The running of the farm passed to Frederick Tapscott assisted by Edward Tapscott, grandson of Robert Tapscott and Elizabeth Holway and Mary Ann continued living at Henley, moving into the cottage next door and by 1901 was living with her daughter Anna Victoria.

Alfred Frederick Tapscott who was born in 1856 in High Ham Somerset and died on 1 November 1918 in High Ham Somerset, aged 63. Alfred was a farmer and married Elizabeth Jennings in 1880 at High Ham, Somerset.  they had 7 children:

Hubert John Tapscott who was born on 17 June 1881 in High Ham Somerset. He married Amy Walker and emigrated to Canada.

Percy Tapscott who was born in 1882, High Ham Somerset and married Rose Shore in 1909 in Crediton, Devon. Percy and Rose emigrated to Canada.

Ernest Tapscott who was born in 1884 in High Ham Somerset and married Ida Annie Gooding in 1916 in High Ham, Somerset. In 1939 Ernest was farming at Howe’s Farm, Henley.

Ella Maud Tapscott who was born in 1884 in High Ham Somerset and married Albert Charles Miles in 1906 in High Ham, Somerset.

Ada Mary Tapscott who was born in 1887 in High Ham Somerset and died on 1 January 1901 at High Ham Somerset.

Arthur Tapscott who was born in 1887, High Ham Somerset.

Henry Tapscott who was born in 1894 in High Ham, Somerset and married Lily Loader in High Ham in 1918. They had a son, Ronald in 1919.

Anna Victoria Tapscott who was born in 1857 in High Ham Somerset and died on 27 December 1929 at Henley, High Ham, Somerset. Anna married Henry Vigar at High Ham a farmer of Bridge Farm. They had 10 children:

Mary Jane Vigar who was born in1882 in High Ham, Somerset and died in 1961, High Ham, Somerset Mary Jane married Edward Henry Tapscott in 1917 in High Ham, Somerset. Edward was the son of Selina Tapscott and was managing the Tapscott farm at Henley Corner.

Florence Vigar who was born in1883, High Ham, Somerset and died after 1924. she married Raymond Darryl Frankling in 1924 in Bridgwater, Somerset.

Rose Anna Vigar who was born in 1885 in High Ham Somerset.

Kate Vigar who was born in 1887 in High Ham Somerset.

Arthur Joseph Vigar who was born in 1890, High Ham, Somerset and died on 19 December 1962 at High Ham, Somerset.

Sydney Vigar who was born in 1891 in High Ham Somerset and died on 8 June 1970, High Ham, Somerset.

Harold Vigar who was born in 1896 in High Ham Somerset.

Henry Maurice Vigar who was born on 13 March 1898, High Ham Somerset and died in1904, Taunton Deane, Somerset. He married Ann Pearce.
